WYWY explains.
Ok that is from WYWY. Can we see an endorsement by the relevant authorities to certify that all this ture? I think if there is such endorsement, at least it will help clear the doubts of many. I think it's only fair that the authorities make a public clarification and explain what exactly happened that led to this issue.
I'm sure everyone is wondering, if WYWY did use local halal ingredients (as stated above), why was pork contamination detected in some of the lab test done? I hope we'll get some answers, but then again at the way that this issue is being handled, I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you...

- I only went to WyWy once and I think they are unreasonably over priced for a normal restaurant. Service sucked like hell. A little smile would have been better.
-I think they hv been victimised by someone who has some grudge against them!
-To close the matter for once and for all, we need another independent lab test to reconfirm.

Why no authorities came forward and say anything? Why the conspiracy of silence? If they are wrong, say so... apologize... they are darned lucky that private companies cant sue whoever make any false allegations. Who ever signed that paper should be sue by Wywy...
How long has the allegations been and yet no comment yet? What does that tell you about how the "authorities" work in Brunei?
Welcome to the way of doing business in Brunei... when you're successful, be careful... there are bound to be people who is/are jealous of your success and the next thing you know, their relatives in this ministry or that ministry start to make your life difficult.. then u know someone wants your head...
heheh...
yang banarnya....
Now why would you think that the lab analysis was wrong?? Unless as you said it was a conspiracy, the data or the scientists are non biased. They were just doing their jobs.
Perhaps the wywy restaurant did use halal ingredients but that doesn't change the fact that pork enzyme was detected...
Maybe we should start testing the ingredients too..
u see, if only "some people" didn't intervened, we as a government sector can do our job properly. so what to do.. the license is not own by a the chinese man.
but still as a rakyat islam, we feel cheated, and now WYWY dare to challenge his majesty's government. We malays are not stupid. We may be gullible. Lesson learnt well.

whatever it is, i dont the govt will let itself lose face like this if there's any truth in the experiment... protected or not, eventually lose out jua... thats the problem everything is made into a racial issue.... poorahhh...
Seriously affected man,
last night i went round round wywy sg tilong/ sg hancing. So sunyi, sama jua, bengkurong and lambak. i think it will take time to regain confidence back.
If i were wywy boss, i will go out on attack and hired all muslim locals and sack non muslim chef. n go to ranoadidas haha. not easy man.. but this wywy like mafia bah, got so many money.
I don't think is the right thing to sue whoever-they-wanna-sue. Actually the customers have the right to sue the company. We felt cheated by them!!
This should be a lesson to other companies, to not do such a horrible thing. We need to take care our food industries, we as a Muslim country need to.
This also happen to 1 of the companies in Malaysia.. quite well known also i think..
This is what wywy should have done
